We’re supposed to get 7-8 hours of sleep a night but how many of us actually do? Between late nights watching Netflix and catching up on work emails and 5AM wake ups to get in some cardio, it feels like there’s not enough hours in the night to get proper beauty rest. It’s so important to get enough sleep, however. Lack of sleep makes you foggy, grouchy and can even impact your skin, making you look tired and older.
That’s why we’ve come up with the perfect nighttime routine to get you into bed so you can catch some zzz’s and wake up refreshed and ready to take on the day.
Use a CBD Rollerball
Our Roll Away Rollerball is blended with lavender and mint to leave you feeling refreshed, perfect for the end of a long day at work. Just roll the CBD onto your temples and breathe deeply. Lavender is a beautiful way to get into the mood for rest, plus it just smells simply amazing. If you really want to boost the calming scent factor, try diffusing some calming essential oils in your bedroom so it’s ready for you when you’re ready to go to sleep.
Take a Bath
Baths are heavenly all on their own but by adding in our CBD Bath Salts you’ll be adding in a whole other level of luxury. Take this time to catch up on your podcast or listen to some relaxing music. If you’re feeling a little more in need of you time, you can even pop on a guided meditation and light some candles to get you feeling warm, loose and sleepy enough then even the new episode of your show can’t convince you to stay up past bedtime.
Brew a Cup of Tea
A cup of tea and a book is a perfect way to turn your brain off (and your phone screen!) and our CBD Infused Fruit Tea is an amazing choice for you to sip on. It’s caffeine free so you won’t get wired up and the combination of the warm tea and a book is the perfect way to slip off into dreamland. Just make sure the book isn’t too good because we’ve all said “Just one more chapter!” before getting to the end of the book to find out that Fabio and Rosita really do end up together!
Pick an Appropriate Bedtime
If you know that you’re hitting the gym before work and that’ll have you waking up at 5AM, make sure to go to bed by 10PM at the very latest. Getting the proper amount of sleep ensures that you’ll wake up bright eyed and bushy tailed and you might even be able to avoid the mid afternoon coffee altogether. If you need help getting to bed at your desired bedtime, trying setting an alarm for lights out and put your phone on the opposite side of the room. Nobody has anything important to say on Facebook at that time of night, we promise!
